I always knew I wanted to be in real estate.
Everything revolves around real estate. Literally everything. You are sitting on a piece of real estate right now— whether you are laying on the beach, sitting in your house, your office or your car. Real estate is a fascinating industry with so many career options possible!
As a little girl, my Dad, Dennis W. Moser, was my best friend. I went with him everywhere… job sites, car washes, public meetings, charity board and bank board meetings just to name a few. I was able to see behind the scenes in the world of real estate from a young age…seeing dreams, visions and projects come to life! Honestly looking back at these memories, they were the foundational blocks of my life.
The blurry pictures in this blog give a little perspective into my childhood and just make me smile.

My Dad believed deeply in teaching kids a strong work ethic from a young age. I wish I had pictures of the projects he would put me on… moving rocks from one place to another "just because", picking up sticks in the woods, putting out the pine needles and hay bales. I complained then but I do believe those days gave me more of a foundation than I realize.

I would travel around with my Dad to all of the car washes he was building. My job was to use the “Picker upper” to clean up all of the trash and cigarette butts. The “picker upper” was as large as me but I was determined to pick the trash up and then spray down the bays. My payment for helping would be $1 to go get McDonald’s fries.

As I got older, my sister and I would set up lemonade stands at the washes. Sometimes we would sell the blueberries that we grew. It taught us business skills from an early age. This picture is from Wash One- Stallings on Old Monroe Rd.
In high school, I worked at a local produce stand and got to know many of the region’s farmers. I loved this job but knew I wanted to be in real estate as a career.
After years of going around with my dad to properties, I never questioned what I wanted to do.
In North Carolina, you must be 18 years old to qualify for an individual real estate broker license. As a senior in high school, I signed up for my real estate license course.

I was so excited to pass the North Carolina state real estate exam.
I hope to be a good steward of all of the gifts and opportunities that God has given and the places He has put me for His glory.
It is an honor of a lifetime to be able to work with my Dad at The Moser Group Inc.

Although there are daily challenges, I love this industry! I love the opportunity to learn more about real estate and help individuals and businesses. I love that real estate gives me the opportunity to learn something new everyday and to help individuals and businesses see their plans and dreams become reality.
